Fred Eversley, Related Companies

Portals by Fred Eversley is a powerful site specific commission inspired by architect Julian Abele and created for Related Companies, in partnership with the city of West Palm Beach.

The sculpture is comprised of eight parabolic shapes, adorning the One Flagler office tower, a 25-story building designed by architect David Childs and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, and is adjacent to the First Church of Christ, Scientist, designed by Julian Abele. The church remains one of the most architecturally significant historic structures in West Palm Beach.

Culture Corps created and oversaw the full RFP process and spearheaded the commission. The piece can be seen at One Flagler in West Palm Beach, Florida and is open to the public permanently.
