Culture Corps, in collaboration with artist Matt Starr and travel brand Raden, produced an activation that was part performance art and part guerilla marketing. Starr lingered outside five of New York’s most iconic hotels—from The Plaza to The Standard—throughout one day, Cyber Monday, with a group of assistants and a hoard of Raden suitcases. Observing this absurdly comical performance, onlookers were playfully invited to contemplate the habits of conspicuous consumption and modern social behavior.
