INVENTING ANNA

Working closely with the producers of Netflix's limited series, Culture Corps brought Cecily Brown’s paintings to the set of Inventing Anna. Cecily Brown is a British painter whose work toes the line between figuration and abstraction. Key to the success of Brown’s aesthetic is her ability to capture the human form within a frenzied and fragmented flux. She draws inspiration from the history of Western painting and popular culture.
